RamaayanNa tales ascribed to krishnadasa sharma is in the sixteenth century prose.During the 1930s late kamalambal wrote the raghu ramaayaNa in in ovi style verse. There have also been an adopted version by late sri narahari vittal prabhu of gokarna and recently the translaton of 'raamacharita maanas'[ tulaseedasa] by k. ananta bhat of kochi''
